Energroup is a specialist in sustainable investments, particularly renewable energy, aiming to stimulate private investment to promote the transition to a green economy. Our goal is to facilitate funding relationships between ethical investors and businesses with high growth potential that contribute to a low-carbon economy. We are therefore a conduit for active investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency industries.
We work with projects using established technologies, like offshore wind, onshore wind, solar, hydro, inter-connectors, waste and biomass, as well as projects that utilize emerging technologies, including tidal, biofuels, and smart grids.
Our role incorporates catalysing green private investment and building markets for both government and private section, sustainable, low-carbon ventures, with a focus on renewable energy. Our approach is focused on long-term partnerships with renewable-energy projects and our investors, in order to provide support for the growth of the global green economy.

Our primary area is in renewable energy projects. We partner with government-led and private-sector projects to seek suitable investors. Our investors are generally banks or private-sector organisations that have an interest in financing or own the project.
Our standard business model is the power purchase agreement (PPA). PPAs are one of the fastest ways to contribute to sustainability goals and add new renewable energy to the grid. Whether the renewable-energy project is based on power generation from wind, solar, biomass, anaerobic digestion, landfill gas, sewage gas, energy from waste, advanced conversion technology or combined heat and power (CHP), we can establish a mutually beneficial PPA for the project and investor.
Energroup is proficient at evaluating projects and creating detailed teasers for presentation to our partner investors in the form of a tender. Our aim is to set up a preferable agreement and conditions for both the renewable-energy project owner and investor.
